Another successful conference has been organized by EGYTESOL. The two day event was held on November 21st and 22nd at the Triumph hotel in Heliopolis.
The keynote speakers were Bill Bowler who talked about student evolution and Jeremy Harmer who talked about coalitions of the writing.
ILB, a main sponsor of the event, displayed a wide range of books for KG, primary, preparatory, secondary, universities and adult education.
ILB's Senior Educational Consultant, Thomas J. Kelley, presented three workshops at the conference to standing room only crowds.
The first one was Move your Body: Bringing Language to Life which explained to the participants the importance of teaching students how to use body language correctly when speaking as well as how to use it to understand others when they speak.
The second workshop was A Pronunciation Revolution which identified the most important sub skills of pronunciation for communication and how to teach these step by step in the classroom.
The third presentation was Linking the Stages of Learning which talked about the importance of understanding what the purpose of each stage of learning is and how it leads to and builds upon the other stages of learning. Without this understanding teachers, students and the curriculum can fly out of control and miss the intended mark.
